Eurozone's construction output up 1.2% in November

The construction production in the euro area increased by 1.2% in November 2024 compared to October, Eurostat said in a report on Monday. The construction output in the European Union rose by 1.3% on a monthly basis. Compared to November 2023, construction improved by 1.4% in the Eurozone and 0.9% in the EU.

Month-on-month, euro area construction production increased the most for specialized construction activities at 1.2%, followed by civil engineering at 0.5% and buildings at 0.3%. Annually, civil engineering saw a rise of 1.3% and specialized construction activities added 1.1%, while the output in buildings fell by 0.2%.
