Iran's Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi stated on Wednesday that the country will persist with its nuclear program despite pressure from the United States and Israel.

In an interview with Al-Araby Al-Jadeed, Araghchi claimed that Iran's missile response to attacks from the US and Israel directly contributed to the current ceasefire.

"They thought US involvement would lead to Iran's surrender," Araghchi said. "But our strong missile response using Kheibar Shekan missiles forced them to back down and propose a ceasefire through diplomatic channels."
