Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said on Friday that Russia's latest attacks on his country, which were reported to be the biggest since the start of the war, showed that Moscow does not plan to "change its stupid destructive behavior" unless it faces "truly large-scale pressure" from the West.

"For every such blow to people and life, they must feel the corresponding sanctions and other blows to their economy, to their earnings, to their infrastructure. This is the only thing that can be achieved quickly to change the situation for the better. And this depends on partners, primarily the United States," Zelensky stated in a post on Telegram.

The Ukrainian president's comments come after Russia targeted his country with 550 drones and missiles overnight, most of which were headed toward Kiev.
