United States Vice President and Democratic presidential nominee Kamala Harris has a four-point lead against her Republican opponent, former President Donald Trump, the latest poll by CBC News showed on Sunday.

According to the new poll, 52% of voters said they will support Harris in the November elections, while 48% will vote for Trump.

The survey found that the growing support for Harris is primarily due to the recent interest rate cut and the drop in gas prices, giving voters the impression that the national economy is recovering.
