Kremlin Press Secretary Dmitry Peskov announced on Wednesday that the United States will release a Russian citizen imprisoned there after his country set free Marc Fogel, an American.

At a press conference, Peskov said that the person in question will be returned to Russia "in the coming days" but did not disclose their identity.

The day before, Russia released and returned Fogel, an American school teacher arrested and sentenced to 14 years in prison for possession of medical marijuana.
