MicroStrategy Incorporated, doing business as Strategy, announced on Monday it had acquired 4,020 bitcoins (BTC) between May 19 and May 25 for approximately $427.1 million, bringing its total holdings to 580,250 BTC.

The purchase was funded through three at-the-market equity programs, including sales of common and preferred shares.

The company sold 847,000 shares of common stock for $348.7 million, along with 678,970 STRK preferred shares and 104,423 STRF shares, raising an additional $78.3 million. According to Strategy's disclosure, the average purchase price for this latest tranche was $106,237 per coin.
