Israel's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's Office and Foreign Ministry confirmed Sunday in a joint statement that the body of missing rabbi Zvi Kogan was found in the United Arab Emirates (UAE.)

"The murder of Zvi Kogan, of blessed memory, is an abhorrent act of antisemitic terrorism. The State of Israel will use all means and will deal with the criminals responsible for his death to the fullest extent of the law," it showed.

Kogan, an envoy of the orthodox Jewish organization Chabad-Lubavitch, had been missing in Dubai since Thursday, causing Israeli intelligence agency Mossad and UAE authorities to look for him. The Brooklyn-based religious organization was founded in 1775. The cause of his death remains unclear.
