French Prime Minister Francois Bayrou stated on Friday that replacing US products with Chinese ones during the current trade turmoil would be "dangerous."

Speaking with journalists, he referred to such a shift as naive, emphasizing that he prefers promoting economic activity over closing off markets.

Additionally, he remarked, "When the President of the United States imposes tariffs, it feels like an earthquake," condemning the actions taken.
