The aim of the Fund is to provide capital growth by investing primarily in a diversified portfolio of equity securities issued by companies around the world. The Investment Manager will choose well-managed, quality companies of all sizes and at different stages of development that are leaders in their country, industry or globally in terms of products, services or execution, and which it believes to have above average growth, profitability and quality characteristics including positive sustainability. Normally, the Fund"s investments will be divided among the United States, Continental Europe, the United Kingdom, Canada, Japan and the markets of the Pacific Basin. The Fund can also invest in emerging markets which are typically countries that are still developing their economies and face more political, economic or structural challenges than developed countries.
