The objective of the Fund is to provide a combination of growth and income by outperforming the Bloomberg Global Corporates 1-5 Year index, the "Benchmark Index", after the deduction of any charges and measured over rolling three-year periods. The Fund will seek to achieve its objective by investing in a broad range of bonds and bond-related instruments of which at least 80% will be denominated in USD, Euro and GBP. The Fund will invest at least 70% in corporate bonds. As the Fund will be actively managed, the combined duration of the bonds and derivatives in which it invests may differ from that of the Benchmark Index but the Fund"s absolute duration will remain positive.
