Investment goal

KBC Eco Fund World aims to generate a return by investing in the shares of companies from every sector throughout the world that operate in an environmentally friendly, sustainable and socially responsible way. The fund invests at least 75% of its assets in the shares of companies that manage the environmental impact of the goods production process and the final product better than their peers. The companies are screened using positive and/or exclusion criteria to ensure they comply with the sustainable and socially responsible character of this fund. The positive criteria relate to long-term economic policy, business ethics and corporate governance, the environment, internal social policy and human rights. The exclusion criteria used relate to the environment, human rights, and socially questionable practices and technologies. To this end, a specialised research team from KBC Asset Management works with independent experts.
