Investment strategy
The investment objective of the fund is to reflect the performance of gold over the long term, after deduction of the commissions and costs charged to the fund, taking into account a so-called Fairtrade premium.
The Fairtrade Gold Standard includes a broad catalogue of social, economic and environmental criteria. The fund therefore invests at least 80% of the fund assets after deduction of liquid assets in gold from Fairtrade-certified gold mines. The income is retained for reinvestment.
