The fund invests primarily (at least 70%) in equity securities of European smaller companies. Smaller companies are defined as issuers with market capitalizations similar to those of issuers included in the MSCI Europe Small Mid Cap Index (net div), the fund's benchmark, over the last 13 months at the time of purchase. Some of the countries in Europe, primarily those in Eastern Europe, are currently considered emerging market economies.
