The ESPA SELECT BOND fund invests flexibly in a variety of bond segments: national and international government bonds, corporate bonds (investment grade and high yield), emerging market bonds in hard and local currency, convergence bonds to the Eurozone or the European Union, and international mortgage and convertible bonds. The mixture of various asset classes means the portfolio's return is significantly higher than the return of a conventional investment in euro government bonds. At the same time, potential risks are diversified. The share of high-yield bonds, currency risks and other investments without an investment grade credit rating may only account for up to 10% of the fund's assets in total.
