The objective of the fund is to replicate the S&P Goldman Sachs Commodity Index as closely as possible by investing in futures. The fund also endeavours to achieve enhancement on the CHFdenominated money market instruments that are used as collateral. This means that currency risk - with the exception of the negligible currency risk on the variation margin - can be avoided. Its low correlation with traditional asset classes makes the fund an ideal portfolio diversification instrument. Furthermore, it offers good protection from inflation risks in the event of a rise in commodity prices.
