The Group was formed in February 2011 by a merger between the Swiss-based ALSO Holding AG and German-based Actebis GmbH. The group is active in 15 European countries. In its ICT distribution activities, ALSO collaborates with leading manufacturers of hardware and software as well as specialist distributors, resellers, retailers, and eTailers. The company holds a portfolio of around 250.000 articles from more than 500 vendors as well as providing additional value-added services in the high-end-server, storage, security, and networks sectors. They complements its ICT product portfolio with a range of standardized marketing, training, information, logistics, aftersales, and accounting services. In addition, they offers customized service packages along through the entire value chain. The Droege International Group AG, Germany, holds a majority interest.
