Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky insisted on Saturday that Europe must be included in the potential negotiations about a peace deal between Ukraine and Russia.

In a post on X, Zelensky revealed that he had a "productive talk" with United Kingdom Prime Minister Keir Starmer, adding that Europe sitting at the negotiating table would help "ensure strong security guarantees." He added that Kiev's security is "inseparable" from that of Europe.

"We coordinated our military cooperation, joint steps, and engagements for the coming week, which will be very active. The UK and its people are among Ukraine’s biggest supporters, and we deeply appreciate this," he wrote further.
