Natural gas output at South Pars, the world's largest natural gas field, was partially halted following an Israeli strike, Iranian media reported on Saturday. The current capacity of gas production is unclear.

Iranian authorities said earlier today that a fire broke out at the site and was subsequently contained. The attack represents the first time Israel targeted Iran's fossil fuel facilities since the start of the operation on Friday.
