As they talked about climate change, United States Democratic vice presidential nominee Tim Walz slammed former President Donald Trump's meeting with oil executives.

"To call it a hoax and to take the oil company executives to Mar-a-Lago and say, 'Give me money for my campaign, and I'll let you do whatever you want.' We can be smarter about that, and an all-above energy policy is exactly what she's doing, creating those jobs right here, Walz said.

Meanwhile, Republican vice presidential nominee JD Vance called climate change "a very important issue," arguing that the US must invest more in energy production since energy produced in the US is cleaner.
