The United States Composite PMI Output Index landed at 52.8 in June, slightly down from 53 registered in May and hitting a two-month low, the S&P Global shared on Monday in its preliminary report.

The flash Services PMI Business Activity Index in June stood at 53.1, slipping from May's 53.7, but remaining well above the neutral 50 mark. Meanwhile, the flash Manufacturing PMI was unchanged from last month, coming in at 52 in June.

"The June flash PMI data indicated that the US economy continued to grow at the end of the second quarter, but that the outlook remains uncertain while inflationary pressures have risen sharply in the past two months. Although business activity and new orders have continued to grow in June, growth has weakened amid falling exports of both goods and services," Chief Business Economist at S&P Global Market Intelligence Chris Williamson said.
