UK's GDP shrinks 0.3% in April

The United Kingdom's gross domestic product (GDP) fell by 0.3% in April compared to the previous month, where it grew by 0.2%, the country's Office for National Statistics revealed on Friday.
Month on month, production output decreased by 0.6% in April and services output fell by 0.4%. Construction output added 0.9%.
In the February to April period, real GDP was estimated to have gained 0.7% compared to the previous three-month period. In the three months to April, quarter on quarter, production, services and construction saw a rise of 1.1%, 0.6% and 0.5%, respectively.
