United States President Donald Trump said on Friday that the trade deal negotiated with the United Kingdom earlier this month is "working out well for all." Among other provisions, the agreement dropped tariffs on British cars from 27.5% to 10% for 100,000 vehicles, leaving in place the flat 10% tariff on all imports into the US.

Trump also "strongly recommended" that the UK abandon "costly and unsightly" windmills and instead offer incentives for oil drilling in the North Sea. He claimed the UK's energy costs would "go WAY DOWN, and fast!"
