Following a meeting with provincial premiers on Wednesday, Trudeau stated that "nothing can be off the table" in response. He expressed support for a proportional, dollar-for-dollar retaliation, indicating Canada’s preparedness to target US goods.

According to the source, Canada could impose tariffs on up to 150 billion Canadian dollars ($105 billion) worth of US imports and Ottawa had already prepared a list of potential targets.
