Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov said on Thursday that the date for the next round of negotiations with Kiev will be decided next week.

In an interview for RT, Peskov remarked that both parties will have to compare the memorandum drafts previously exchanged in Istanbul. He also added that Russian President Vladimir Putin supports idea of continuing dialogue between Moscow and Kiev, saying that "the very idea of dialogue, the continuation of this dialogue at an expert level is supported by our Ministry of Foreign Affairs. And this was agreed upon by President Putin."

Just yesterday, the Russian president expressed his readiness to meet directly with Ukrainian counterpart Volodymyr Zelensky.
