Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is "shocked by the horrific antisemitic murder" of two Israeli embassy employees in Washington, his office said in a post on X on Thursday, adding that he spoke with Israeli Ambassador to the US Yechiel Leiter and US Attorney General Pam Bondi.

"We are witnessing the terrible price of antisemitism and wild incitement against the State of Israel. The blood libels against Israel are rising in blood and must be fought to the bitter end," the post read.

Furthermore, Netanyahu instructed the security forces to step up security at Israeli embassies worldwide.
