Stock exchange operator Nasdaq Inc. is planning to open a regional headquarters in Dallas, Texas, the Wall Street Journal reported on Tuesday. While the company has regional offices across the United States, including in Texas, it is currently seated in New York City.

According to the report, the second headquarters will serve the entire US Southeast. People familiar with the matter said it will be the home of a part of Nasdaq’s technology and financial crime management businesses, as well as working on getting more listings by companies in the region.
