NATO will shorten its summit in the Netherlands next week from three days to just two and a half hours, the Financial Times reported on Thursday. The summit was scheduled for June 24-26 in the Hague, but sources familiar with the matter said the change was made to ensure that United States President Donald Trump "did not get bored and leave early."
Trump left the G7 summit in Canada a day early last week, stating that he must return to the US as soon as possible due to the Israel-Iran conflict. He missed a meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, who flew to Canada to speak to him.
