The Defense Ministry announced Wednesday that Israel's arms exports hit a record $14.7 billion in 2024, marking the fourth consecutive year of growth "despite international criticism of the Gaza war." In a statement, the ministry said that over half of these deals were large contracts worth at least $100 million each, driven by strong global demand for Israeli defense technology.

European countries accounted for more than half of the exports, while sales to Gulf Arab states, including the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, and Morocco, quadrupled from 3% in 2023 to 12% in 2024. The ministry said it has operated in a "state of emergency" since October 2023, maintaining production for both military needs and foreign clients.

"The world sees Israel's strength and wants to be a part of it," Defense Minister Israel Katz said.
