The suspect of the flamethrower attack at a rally in support of Israeli hostages in Boulder, Colorado, has been charged with two counts of murder on Monday.

Eight people aged between 52 and 88 were injured after the attacker used Molotov cocktails to target the crowd. The suspect, identified as Mohamed Soliman, was charged with two counts of murder, one count of attempted murder and one count of first-degree assault. The police department in Boulder confirmed that the injuries ranged from "very serious" to "more minor." There have been no further updates on the state of the victims, and it is yet to be confirmed if there are any fatalities.

The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Director Kash Patel regarded the incident as a "terror attack." The White House indicated that the attacker was an "illegal alien" who "overstayed his tourist visa given by the Biden administration."
