Khamenei: Iran will not surrender
Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei responded to the latest threats from the United States by declaring that his country will not accept an "imposed" peace or war and will not surrender.
Khamenei warned the US that a military intervention against Iran would initiate Tehran's "forceful response" and result in "irreparable damage" for the attacker. "It isn’t wise to tell the Iranian nation to surrender," Khamenei proclaimed.
On Tuesday, US President Donald Trump publicly called for Iran's "unconditional surrender," proclaiming Khamenei would not be targeted "for now."
