Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz threatened on Thursday Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, saying he "cannot continue to exist.‎"

"Dictator Khamenei is the modern Hitler who has engraved on his banner the destruction of the State of Israel and is enslaving all the resources of his country to advance this terrible goal," Katz wrote on his X account, following previous comments made by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

Earlier this week, United States President Donald Trump also warned the Iranian supreme leader, calling him an "easy target" and adding that US patience is "wearing thin."
