Katz: If there is terror, there will be no Hezbollah
Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz on Friday warned Iran-backed Hezbollah to stay out of the conflict between Israel and Iran. "If there is terror, there will be no Hezbollah," he said in a post on X.
Katz claimed that Hezbollah Secretary General Naim Qassem "hasn't learned from his predecessors and is threatening to act against Israel," referring to the slain group's leader Hassan Nasrallah, who was killed by Israel last year. He recommended the Lebanon-based group to "be careful, and understand that Israel has lost patience with the terrorists who threaten it."
Katz's comments come after Qassem said that Hezbollah would "act as we see fit in the face of this brutal Israeli-American aggression."
