Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang revealed that the tech giant, along with Foxconn, the Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC) and the Taiwanese government would build a "giant" artificial intelligence (AI) supercomputer "for the AI infrastructure and AI ecosystem" of Taiwan.
Huang also announced Nvidia's NV Link Fusion, which will aid in building semi-custom AI infrastructure instead of just singular, semi-custom chips. It will be able to integrate all companies' custom CPUs and AI accelerators, fitting "right into an [Nvidia] ecosystem."
MediaTek, Marvell Technology and Alchip Technologies will create custom AI chips that work with Nvidia processor-based systems, he added.
