Lebanon-based Hezbollah said on Wednesday in a first statement after a ceasefire with Israel entered into effect that it is ready to deal with Israel's "ambitions and aggression" and that its operative's "hands will remain on the trigger."

The Iran-backed group claimed that it will closely follow the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) movements and process of withdrawal from southern Lebanon.

Additionally, Hezbollah ensured that it will continue resistance and support Hamas "fighters" in the Gaza Strip.
