United States Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago President Austan Goolsbee shared on Friday that he is not against slowing down the race cuts momentum.

In an interview with CNBC, the banker said that the Fed may opt to "feel [the central bank's] way toward neutral rates," and stated that the underlying economy looks to be on an "excellent path" with the market that has largely settled around full employment.

When asked about the possibility of adding Bitcoin reserves to its balance sheet, Goolsbee remarked that the Fed is "legally constrained" so that such assets cannot be added.
