Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said on Saturday that he supports the arrest warrants issued by the International Criminal Court (ICC) for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Israel's former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant, urging all countries to comply with the warrants.

"We find it important for this courageous decision to be implemented by all countries party to the agreement in order to renew humanity's trust in the international system. In particular, Western countries that have been teaching the world about rights, law, justice and human rights for years must fulfill their promises at this point," Erdogan stated, adding that Turkey "fulfilled its humanitarian, conscientious and fraternal duties right from the very beginning during the Gaza massacre and the Israeli attacks on Lebanon."

Some countries like the United Kingdom, Canada and Italy already stated that they will abide by the warrants, but some countries like the United States and Hungary rejected them.
