Emirates has signed a deal with Crypto.com to bring cryptocurrency payments to its platform. The agreement, announced on Wednesday in Dubai, aims to integrate Crypto.com Pay into the airline's payment systems by next year, offering "the highest security and compliance standards."

Emirates' Chief Financial and Group Services Officer Adnan Kazim said the move supports the airline's push for innovation and responds to "younger, tech-savvy customer segments who prefer digital currencies." Meanwhile, Crypto.com's President and Chief Operating Officer Eric Anziani said the deal "will bring real momentum to the digital asset industry and enable both companies to offer genuine innovative finance solutions for our customers."

Both companies also plan joint marketing campaigns to promote the new payment option.
