United States President Joe Biden will travel to Germany from October 10 to 12 to meet with local leaders, the White House said on Tuesday.

"The President will reinforce the US and German commitment to democracy and countering antisemitism and hatred, strengthen the enduring people-to-people ties between our countries, and advance cooperation on economics, trade, and technology," the statement showed. No meeting with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz was mentioned.

Following Germany, Biden will travel to visit Angola's President Joao Lourenco on October 13-15.
