AWS invests $100M more in AI innovation center

Amazon Web Services announced Tuesday a new $100 million investment in its Generative AI Innovation Center, marking two years since its launch in 2023. The initiative has worked with diverse clients from financial firms to health providers to move beyond experimentation and implement generative AI at scale. Companies such as Formula 1, FOX, GovTech Singapore, Itau Unibanco, and Nasdaq have used the program to improve efficiency and customer experience.

The new funding aims to support businesses as the technology shifts toward more autonomous systems.

"Two years has flown by quickly, and I couldn’t be prouder of how the AWS Generative AI Innovation Center has helped thousands of customers tackle their most complex AI challenges—from medical research to banking to startup innovation," Director for the Center Sri Elaprolu noted . "This new $100 million AWS investment empowers us to continue innovating alongside our customers."
