Rightmove plc operates with Rightmove.co.uk one of the UK's largest property portals. The Group’s reportable segments are Agency, New Homes and Others. Rightmove provides their commercial customer access to one of the largest audience of UK home movers by enabling them to advertise all of their properties on their website and mobile platforms for a monthly subscription fee. Selling property privately without an agent is prohibited. Customers can also take advantage of a wide set of advertising products to better promote their properties, brand and proposition. Their service is directed at four key membership groups: estate agents, lettings agents, new homes developers and overseas homes agents offering properties outside the UK but interested in advertising to UK-based home hunters. Rightmove.co.uk was started in 2000 by the top four corporate estate agencies at the time: Countrywide, Connells, Halifax and Royal and Sun Alliance.
