ARYZTA AG is an international food business with a leadership position in frozen B2B bakery. The Group is primarily organised into the operating segments: Food Europe, Food North America and Food Rest of World. Food Europe has leading market positions in the European speciality bakery market. It has a diversified customer base including convenience retail, gas stations, multiple retail, restaurants, catering and hotels, leisure and QSRs. Food North America is a leading player in the US speciality bakery market. It has a diversified customer base, including multiple retail, restaurants, catering and hotels, leisure, hospitals, military, fundraising and QSRs. Food Rest of World - ARYZTA operates in South America, Asia, Australia and New Zealand. ARYZTA has a mixture of business-to-business and consumer brands, including: Aryzta, Hiestand, Fresh Start Bakeries, Cuisine de France, Delice de France, Coup de Pates, Otis Spunkmeyer, Great Kitchens, Maidstone, La Brea Bakery, Pineridge Bakery, Cloverhill Bakery, Klemme, Honeytop, Pennant and Sweet Life. Furtermore ARYZTA holds a 49% stake in Picard. In 2015, the Group has sold its major interest of Origin Enterprises plc, an agri-nutrition business. ARYZTA AG is a Swiss company based in Zurich and was formed in 2008 through the merger of IAWS Group plc and Hiestand Holding AG.
