United States stock futures edged lower on Tuesday as investors looked ahead to the G7 finance ministers' meeting in Canada, where trade and tariffs are expected to dominate the agenda. With no major economic data scheduled for release, attention will also turn to Home Depot's earnings as the retailer kicks off this week's corporate updates before the opening bell.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average futures were down 0.17% at 4:14 am ET, while those on the S&P 500 and Nasdaq 100 slipped 0.34% and 0.46%, respectively. The euro traded 0.19% higher against the dollar to change hands for 1.12600 at 4:25 am ET.
