United States President-elect Donald Trump said he talked to Apple CEO Tim Cook today about an investment, offering little in the way of details.

"Today, I spoke with Tim Cook of Apple. He said they're going to make a massive investment in the United States because of our big election," Trump said at his pre-inauguration rally.

Trump also doubled down on his support for TikTok. "Frankly, we have no choice, we have to save it," he said of the social media platform. TikTok went dark in the US ahead of the federal ban, before coming back online and attributing its return to Trump.
