Trump: US not credited for winning two World Wars
United States President Donald Trump claimed that his country "won two World Wars, but we never took credit for it," unlike "everyone else."
In a post on Truth Social, Trump insisted that the US is the only country not commemorating Victory Days in both those wars and declared November 11 and May 8 national holidays.
"[T]he Victory was only accomplished because of us. Without the United States, the War would have been won by other Countries, and what a different World it would be," he wrote. "We will not be closing the Country for these two very important Holidays ... because we already have too many Holidays in America."
