Trump, Lee agree to work towards agreement on tariffs

United States President Donald Trump had a phone call with South Korean President Lee Jae-myung, during which they agreed to work towards a "mutually satisfactory" agreement on tariffs.
"The two leaders agreed to work toward swiftly reaching a mutually satisfactory agreement," on US-South Korea tariffs, Lee's office said, agreeing to encourage a "tangible outcome in working-level talks."
Additionally, Trump congratulated Lee on his victory in the election, while the South Korean president the alliance between their countries was the foundation of his country's foreign policy, according to South Korean presidential spokesperson Kang Yu-jung.
