MicroStrategy Inc. (Strategy) announced on Monday that it acquired 20,356 Bitcoin for around $2 billion at an average price of $97,514 per Bitcoin. Strategy's Chairman Michael Saylor said the company now holds 499,096 Bitcoin bought for a total of $33.1 billion or $66,357 per bitcoin.

The company also said it completed the offering of its 0% convertible senior notes due 2030, with the aggregate principal amount of the notes sold at $2 billion. Strategy said it intends to use the proceeds for general corporate purposes, including the acquisition of bitcoin and working capital.
