Russia in favour of 30-day truce, but considering nuances
Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov said on Friday that Russia was immediately in support of a 30-day ceasefire, but not without taking the nuances into account.
According to Peskov, as soon as the truce was "voiced," Russian President Vladimir Putin "supported" it. However, "there is a huge number of nuances around the topic." Peskov added that "without finding answers" to those issues, it is "difficult to talk substantively."
As CNN reported earlier, Ukraine's allies, led by the US, threaten Russia with more sanctions if it rejects a 30-day truce initiative.
