United States Secretary of State Marco Rubio's plane turned around after experiencing a mechanical issue while en route to Munich, Germany, the State Department said.

The plane was back on its way to Joint Base Andrews, where Rubio will board a different aircraft to resume his travel to Germany and the Middle East.
