Roland Garros draw: Sinner could face Djokovic in semi-final
This year's Roland Garros draw was completed on Thursday, with first seed Jannik Sinner and Novak Djokovic drawn in the same half of the draw.
The world number one Sinner will face the French Arthur Rinderknech in the first round, with Terrence Atmane or Richard Gasquet as potential second-round opponents. The three-time French Open champion, Novak Djokovic, will play against American Mackenzie McDonald in the first round, potentially facing Sinner in the semi-final. Defending champion Carlos Alcaraz will face Japan's Kei Nishikori in the first round. On the women's side, world number one Aryna Sabalenka will face Kamilla Rakhimova in the first round, while the defending champion Iga Swiatek's opponent will be Slovakia's Rebecca Sramkova.
This year's draw was carried out by the special guest, Paris Saint-Germain football star Ousamane Dembele. The 2025 French Open will take place between May 25 and June 8.
