Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters that the names of Russia's delegates for the upcoming Istanbul negotiations with Ukraine on May 15 will be revealed when President Vladimir Putin decides the timing is appropriate.

"No," responded the press secretary when questioned about disclosing the delegates' names. "As soon as the president deems it necessary, we will announce it," Peskov stated.

Peskov confirmed that Russia is continuing its preparations for the scheduled Thursday discussions with Ukraine in Istanbul. Meanwhile, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky's presidential advisor Mykhailo Podolyak indicated that Zelensky seeks direct talks with Putin, rather than other Russian representatives.
